LGBTQ Safe Space Boise

Writer's picture: Meda ThompsonMeda Thompson

Now more than ever, our community must prioritize safety and support. With increasing attacks on the LGBTQ+ community—politically, legally, and socially—it’s essential to know where we are welcomed and which businesses truly stand with us.

As a gay woman living in Boise, with two LGBTQ+ adult children and one adult child who is a dedicated ally in a neighboring state, I know how challenging it can be to find inclusive resources. It’s even harder to find places where we feel truly safe. We deserve spaces where we are respected, valued, and embraced for who we are.

That’s why I created Boise Pride Pages.

Every business listed here has been verified and has pledged to uphold their commitment to being an LGBTQ+ safe space.

Business owners who share their personal names also include their pronouns, reinforcing a culture of respect and inclusion.

At a time when LGBTQ+ rights, DEI initiatives, and fundamental human rights are under attack, this platform exists to help you find your LGBTQ+ Safe Space in Boise.
